  49. DESCRIPTION

  51.      With this program you can use wireless tablets manufactured by Wacom
  52.      with the Amiga.
  53.  
  54.      The tablet is connected to the serial port of your Amiga (Multi-IO
  55.      boards are also supported.) The driver is suitable for tablets of the
  56.      SD, UD and KT series. Both the pressure sensitive and the non-pressure
  57.      sensitive mode are supported.
  58.  
  59.      The driver enables you to control the Amiga mouse pointer with your
  60.      tablet. Appropriate buttons on the tablet's input devices are mapped
  61.      to the normal mousebuttons. Therefore the driver can be used with
  62.      (almost) any program.
  63.  
  64.      Also, a software interface is implemented which enables you to map
  65.      unused buttons in your own applications and/or to use the pressure
  66.      and coordinates in your own applications. Some sample source in C is
  67.      included to demonstrate the usage of the interface.

  69.      Under AmigaOS 3.0 or better the tabletdata is also directly used by
  70.      Intuition and passed to every window where an application can use it.
  71.      A small program with source in C is included to show how an application
  72.      can get the data from intuition using the Commodore tabletinterface.

  74.      Driver settings are made using an intuitive graphics user interface
  75.      (GUI). Also a German catalog file is supplied which you can use with
  76.      at least Workbench 2.1.

  85.      * Now also supports the new KT series. (eg. ArtPad)

  87.      * UD tablets with a romversion 1.2 or greater can be driven with
  88.        double resolution and double pressure range. This is also supported
  89.        now.

  91.      * The mainwindow now also has menus.

  93.      * The cycle- and buttongadgets with keyboard access are highlited now
  94.        when the corresponding key is pressed.

  96.      * The layout of checkboxgadget has changed. When running AmigaOS3.0 or
  97.        better they are looking much better with bigger fonts.

  99.      * The requester which appears when the tablet is not switched on now
  100.        has a retry-button for much easier reinitialising.

  102.      * Revised tabletrecognition. It is now more flexible when some of the
  103.        internal tabletsettings (DIP-switches or memory settings) are not
  104.        set to factory settings. But please set your tablet to factory de-
  105.        faults!

  107.      * Revised SD-510C handling. There have been problems with a certain
  108.        ROM-version of this tablet.

  110.      There is a major new version (2.0) in preparation. It is planed to be
  111.      released by the end of december or begining of january. This version
  112.      will finally include an AREXX-Port and a completly new mouseemulation
  113.      (likely to be faster than Amigamouse).
